Trusted Stay™
Earned through review. Never bought.
Complete your Trusted Stay™ Profile — your property’s preparation record — and submit it for review. StaySafe Verified reviews the information you provide against published requirements. Once approved, that individual property earns the Trusted Stay™ Badge, displayed directly in StayHub™ for arriving guests to see.
Payment or StayHub™ membership does not guarantee approval.
What it is — a reviewed and dated record showing that the host prepared thoughtfully, organized important property information, and shared it honestly.
What it is not — an inspection, audit, ranking, certification, or guarantee. The standard Trusted Stay™ review evaluates the information submitted by the host — it is not a physical inspection of the property.
Staying current — a periodic reconfirmation helps keep the Badge active. Hosts are responsible for maintaining accurate information and updating meaningful property changes. Guests can see when the property’s information was last confirmed and verify its current status.
Private information stays private — access codes, passwords, personal phone numbers, and other sensitive details are never required to complete the Trusted Stay™ Profile or earn the Badge.
Live and property-specific — each property earns its own Trusted Stay™ status. Every active Badge links to a public verification page with a unique Trusted Stay™ ID. If required information becomes outdated, is not reconfirmed, or no longer meets the program requirements, the Badge may be paused or removed.
Thoughtful preparation. Clearly recognized.
Why an approval means something
A real review has four honest outcomes — not one.
If every submission were approved, the Badge would mean nothing. Every Trusted Stay™ Profile is reviewed against published requirements, and every adverse outcome gets human review — that’s exactly why an Approved is worth displaying.
Your submission meets the program requirements — the property earns its Badge, dated and verifiable.
Something needs correcting — we tell you exactly what, you fix it and resubmit.
The review pauses while you supply what’s missing — no penalty, just completeness.
A submission that doesn’t meet the requirements earns no Badge — and no payment changes that.
What your guests actually see
Your guests are strangers deciding whether to trust your place.
Every traveler quietly asks the same question before booking a stranger’s home: is this place what it says it is? The Badge gives them something no listing checkbox can — a dated, verifiable record that a real host prepared this place and put it up for review.
- The Badge sits right in your StayHub™, where arriving guests see it
- Every active Badge links to a public verification page with its own Trusted Stay™ ID
- Guests can see when the property’s information was last confirmed
The Badge reflects our review and approval of your submitted Profile — it is not an inspection, certification, or guarantee, and guests can read exactly what it means on the verification page.
More than a QR code
When guests see the badge, they know four things.
Someone prepared
Safety essentials — detectors, extinguisher — confirmed by the host, with honest “last checked” dates.
Nothing is hidden
Every camera and smart device disclosed — exactly where it points — before arrival, not discovered after.
Help is mapped
The nearest hospital, urgent care and pharmacy — plus shutoffs with photos — ready before anyone needs them.
It stays true
Reconfirmed every year — so the Badge keeps meaning what it says, season after season.
Worry, replaced with trust — before the trip even begins.
Where it lives
Five places the badge belongs.
Beside the front door
Eye level — the first hello
The welcome table
Next to the keys and the note
The kitchen
Where questions actually happen
The post-booking message
Sent through the booking platform’s chat once the reservation is confirmed
Your direct-booking site
Your own channels, your rules
Platform-friendly by design. Nothing goes in your public listing — the hub link travels by message after a booking is confirmed, and the Badge lives at the property. The QR never changes, so you can update your answers any time and every Badge keeps working.
Why hosts love it
Trust you can point to.
Anxious questions fade
“Is there a carbon monoxide detector?” answered the moment they book — with a date, not a promise.
Your property stands apart
Preparation most properties cannot show — at the door, on the welcome table, and in the first message guests receive after booking.
Reviews say “looked after”
Families book the places that plan for them. The Badge tells them you did — before they ask.
Every detail is provided and confirmed by the host, and reconfirmed periodically to stay current. StaySafe Verified reviews each Profile submission against published requirements — but Trusted Stay™ is not an inspection, audit, or certification of the property, and we do not verify the accuracy of what a host provides. It is honest preparation, reviewed and made visible, so guests can plan with confidence.

“We booked an Airbnb in Puerto Vallarta — the place looked beautiful in the photos and the description, but photos only tell you so much from two thousand miles away. Seeing the Trusted Stay™ Badge, and that the host’s information was reviewed and current, is what made me comfortable bringing my family.”
